Hi, welcome to One Minute Marketing. Today’s tip is one to increase your social media and blogging efforts. And simply put, I think it’s one of the best, most under-used, free small business marketing tools out there, and it’s Google Alerts, (www.google.com/alerts).
Google Alerts is a great way to find good quality, consistent content to curate across your social media channels. All you need to do is one-time set up a few alerts on the keywords or phrases most important to your industry and/or business. And then each day, have the newest articles emailed to you. A quick look through them, curate the best ones, and all of a sudden, your social media channels are full. You’re seeing new users, increased engagement, and it gives you the opportunity to not miss out on any important industry news, and/or comment on it. Another great way to keep your blog full.
So if you’re looking for a way to differentiate your business online through social media, set up a couple of Google Alerts.
